Inter-club competition vs. Tydd St. Giles.

Sutton St. Edmund vs. Tydd St. Giles match played Sunday 25th May 2025.

Well, what a great afternoon of short mat bowls it was, unfortunately Barry and his team came up against a formidable ‘Village Hall Floor’ and yup at times it can be challenging even for us locals but looking at the results clearly the home advantage was with us floor and all.

A game played over 6 ends is over before you know it and possibly worked in our favour as the Tydd St. Giles team struggled to work the mats and lay of the land (floor) out before the game was over.

Setting all that to one side the afternoon was played in great positive sprit and enjoyed by all (I believe).
